What it does

Everything you need to read and sign a PDF

  • Open any PDF

    With “Open with”, by dragging it into the window or from recent files — password-protected ones too.

  • A clean viewer

    Continuous pages, zoom, thumbnails and text you can select and copy — in Hebrew and English.

  • Signatures, initials and stamps

    Draw, type or photograph a signature on paper — the background disappears. Add text and today’s date too.

  • Stays on your computer

    Signatures are written into the file on your computer. Nothing is uploaded, and no account or internet is needed.

  • Connected to Formao

    With an account: open your organization’s documents, sign with its saved signatures and upload files from your computer.

  • Updates itself

    The app checks for new versions and installs them with a click.

Installing on a Mac

  1. 1Download and open the DMG file.
  2. 2Drag Formao to the Applications folder.
  3. 3Open Formao from Launchpad or the Applications folder.

Installing on Windows

  1. 1Download and run the installer.
  2. 2If Windows shows a SmartScreen notice about a new app, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
  3. 3When it’s done, Formao is in the Start menu.

Questions

Do I need a Formao account?
No. Viewing and signing files from your computer works without one. You need an account only to work with your organization’s documents and signatures in Formao.
Are my files uploaded?
Not when you work with files from your computer — they are opened and signed on it. A file goes to Formao only when you are signed in and choose to upload it to your organization.
How do I sign in?
With your Formao email and password, including two-step verification if it’s on.
Is there a version for Linux or phones?
Not for Linux yet. On a phone, or in any browser, use Formao at app.formao.ai.
